EN Research day –ahead workshop – 12 December 2023 at 9:00 am

The EN Research of the NGFS organises a day-ahead workshop that will take place on December, 12^th 2023, as part of the GFRA conference, to showcase ongoing research on the macroeconomics impacts and financial implications of climate change done by NGFS members.

The Green Finance Research Advances (GFRA) is an international research conference for academics and professionals, co-organized by Banque de France and the Institut Louis Bachelier, with the support of the Institut de la Finance Durable and the Institute for Climate Economics-I4CE. The objective of this conference is to bring together academics, finance practitioners and regulators, to discuss together research issues related to the integration of climate-related, nature-related and transition-related risks into macro-economic modelling/forecasting and into the risk assessment of the financial sector. This NGFS day-ahead research workshop is the first in-person event (online participation will also be possible) of the EN Research and aims at showcasing the cutting-edge research among members of the NGFS  on the Macroeconomics and financial implications of climate change. It will include the presentation and discussion of papers from NGFS Members, including Banca D’Italia, the Federal Reserve of San Francisco, the Norges Bank, the European Central Bank or the Hong Kong Monetary Authority among others. This workshop represents an opportunity to expand exchanges between researchers, practioners and decision-makers and share results relevant for a wide variety of institutions and geographic areas.
