The Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS) has published its 2025 Annual Report.

For the NGFS, 2025 was a year of growth, impact, and global engagement. It continued supporting central banks and supervisors in addressing climate and nature related risks, through analytical work grounded in science and data.

In addition to the publication of a number of key reports (such as first vintage of short-term climate scenarios, input paper on adaptation in transition plans), in the year, the Network put a particular emphasis on experience sharing and accompanying its members to strenghten their technical and analytical capacities, to facilitate the implementation of previously produced output.

By end-2025, the NGFS counted 170 Members and Observers, with presence across the five continents and a broad representation from both advanced and developing economies. This diversity is one of the strengths of the NGFS, allowing to analyse the impacts from climate change and the green transition from different angles and stages of development.
