What is digital accessibility ?

The site has been designed to be accessible by a majority of users.

Hence, each internet user must be able to access to all of the contents of the site without his potential physical disability, cognitive, his material or his internet connexion performance constitute an obstacle.

In order to be accessible and compatible with the different means of browsing (browsing without mouse, without keyboard) and persons with disabilities using software or specialized equipment ( vocal reader, braille device) or requiring site display personalisation (text characters increase, contrasts modification), Banque de France has started its compliance process according to the General Framework of Reference for Administrative Accessibility (RGAA).

At the bottom of the screen is a back link "Top of page" allowing you to quickly find the main menu and the navigation path.

Titles navigation

Most assistive technologies and browsers make it easier to navigate by title. Most screen readers provide functionality to jump to the next title, for example:

The combination of the "Insert" + "F6" keys provides a list of titles, which can be sorted in tabular or alphabetical order.

The entire site has been designed with responsive design and adapts to all types of screens: smartphone and tablet.

Colours and images

The site offers sufficiently high colour contrasts for easy reading as well as alternative texts to the images and animations present.

  • Website plan
  • Legal information
  • Help
  • Accessibility
